Recently had my asthma waiver for USAFA denied. Called the contact they gave me for a rebuttle and the SSgt told me to take the methacholine challenge test and pulmonary function test. Took both and did fine. No indicaton of bronchospasms. Sent that in to USAFA. Did not need/take asthma meds to control symptoms. Last asthma "episode" was 2 1/2 years ago documented and was minor, probably from being sick and the asthma. Pulmonologist & pediatrician both wrote letters stating I do not have asthma for over 2 years and am cleared. My only concern is that the USAFA wants no asthma for atleast 3 years... any chances at getting the waiver or anything else I can do?
