I'm going to my DoDMERB Medical exam tomorrow, and i guess that'll be the start of my process of getting an Asthma Waiver. I was hoping some of yall could help me out as to what to do in order to get a waiver. I've heard a lot about PFT tests that help candidates get waivers for asthma; could you all tell me more about them?

Also as for my chances of getting a waiver, here are some things regarding my history of asthma. I was first diagnosed with asthma at age 7 and was given an emergency inhaler and preventative inhaler. Two years later at Age 9 I had to go to the ER room because my family and i were at a christmas parade, and I had a bad cold/cough, and I didn't have an inhaler with me. I'm not sure if the circumstances of that ER visit will have any effect. After that, I wasn't affected by asthma so much, but continued to get medication as a precaution up until I was 15. After that, I've had no medications and my doctor says I don't have asthma anymore. Based on that information, do you all think i have a decent chance at getting a waiver?

I will answer the email U sent me:thumb:
