My son was a big JROTC kid, but never mentioned the ribbons he received. He was part of nationally competitive NJROTC battalion, but knew those ribbons are not exactly rare when it comes to the JROTC world. I think what will get attention is the leadership positions you held and the responsibilities
you had. If you have received national JROTC recognition, by all means, but the ribbons from your local battalion, not so much. Btw, when you get to college...leave the JROTC gear at home...don't be that cadet/mid.
