I don't know if anyone remembers me from when I was a candidate, but I am now a plebe at USNA and I know that during the admissions process this forum helped me out a lot. So if any of you guys have any questions, feel free to post away and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. It's time to return the favor!

My personal advice, maintain your professionalism, but try to keep a 'friendly' atmosphere. They like to see that you have a personality. I feel like a lot of people make the mistake of going in thinking "i'm going to be 100% serious, no smiling, laughing, be professional etc" but cracking a smile at their jokes or something like that while maintaining your professionalism is always a plus. Be completely honest, and think about what you're going to say before you say it. They would rather you pause for a second and answer smartly than you answer quickly with a bunch of "uhm's and uh's". But, don't panic if you do, these people have been doing this for a while and they will understand what you're going through. I remember I was extremely nervous for my interviews. But the people who were interviewing me, first thing they told me to do was "relax", and everything turned out alright. :) Good luck!
