Band Co. Email

DS was surprised and pleased to receive a personalized email tonight from a Plebe at USMMA pointing out the merits of being in Band as well going to USMMA. It is written in a positive sounding way and basically says "you should choose USMMA." DS said aloud "I will if you tell me I have an appointment!" Lol. We are hopeful this means DS was on a contact list on purpose and this wasn't an accidental or mistaken contact. Anyone else know about or receive a similar letter?
 
I also received a personalized email about interest in joining Band Co. and attending USMMA a few nights ago. I was wondering the same thing haha, but only time will tell. The wait is killing me!
 
Band Co is wonderful!! The friendships are very tight!!! Good Luck to you. And remember, BAND is best.... :rockon:
 
I just talked to admissions and they said that the appointments should all be wrapped up in two weeks time.
 
Well jmoney, we hope you are correct. We have band "intro" letters but lack appointment invites... So once we have that in hand, midshipmen are we! Err...or at least DS and Plebe will be... . Midshipmen Mom for me.
 
Nothing yet you guys. Although, I'm still thinking very positively and praying we get admitted, I'm getting everything in order for plan b.
 
Any principal candidates that will be in Band Co. for Class of 2019 on here? I will be! I'm currently the Drum Major for my high school marching band and I play the saxophone. I'm extremely excited to join the Regimental Band and KP!
 
@Plebehopeful2019 What's your Plan B?? Don't think you'll need it since you're in the band now.


My plan B was the Texas Maritime Academy at Texas A&M Univ - Galveston, even if you want to go there the out-of-state tuition is waived....so you can pursue the licensing option affordably.
 
Honestly, that's amazing. UF is a public ivy...and the social scene would be incredible.
 
Well guys...my admission officer called me today and said I'm in!! The package will be sent today and I will receive it sometime next week!! God is good!! For those on hold, just keep positive thoughts and wait for your notification!! For those who got in, I'll see you at Indoc!! :thumb:
