Band Co sea term

Oh wise ones of cyber space forum board.

Is it true that all Band Co Mids have the same sea term split? And if so are they A or B? And if not how can we find out which one?

No - They are not all the same. Our Mid is a B-split and is out at sea now. My understanding from him is that there are probably more A-splitters than B-splitters, though.
 
DD was formerly in Band Co., so I can say that this is not true. Band Co. does both splits. DD is A split because of her participation in the Cross Country team. But she had company mates who were B split. (She didn't change companies until after her first Sea Term.)

Your plebe can tell you their split once they know. Of course, that is assuming they actually remember to tell you things like that. :rolleyes: I don't for sure when the splits are determined since DD knew hers early because of the sports.
 
Agreed. Our DS, who is also in BandCo, will be A split because he is on the offshore sailing team. Team sports appear to be the primary determination of A or B split.
