I read on the Academy website that they send you a packet with suggested work outs prior to getting to BCT. it also hinted at minimums that each basic should be able to do. I havnt gotten that packet so can anyone post any of that information here.

In the Instructions to Candidates pdf the last pages go over the PFT, which includes min, mean, max scores. Not to insult anyone, but that's different from the CFA and the CFA's maxs and means. Maybe that's the minimums you were referring to?

The last pages of that pdf also include a Pre-BCT workout routine. You can look at that. You can get a somewhat more "personal" pre-BCT workout at

http://www.academyadmissions.com/#Page/pre_arrival_cadet_training

Besides that, work hard and don't shoot for minimums. Just do your best and work as hard as you can :thumb:

BCT...

Okay..."Steve's" simple "muscle" how-to not be a target...

1. Crunch's/Flutterkicks
Be able to scare people with your ability to play Energizer Bunny here...

2. Pushup's
See above

3. Pullup's
Be able to go to the bar (males) and (at least) be able to "spell" out U-S-A-F-A-2-0-1-5. That way you can ALWAYS say: FOR MY CLASS!

Just my opinion...
