Does filling out a questionairre for a sports team at West Point as a candidate automatically make you a recruited athlete, or does it just show the coaches that you're interested?

If it just shows interest, what exactly makes you an official recruited athlete for West Point?

I'm almost 101% sure that filling it out just lets them know you're interested. I'm not a recruited athlete but I know someone who is being recruited for USNA and they got contacted by people from the athletic dpt and coaches. That's probably how you know if you're being recruited.

USMA2016 is right. You will know you are being recruited when the coaching staff contacts you and tells you they want you in their program.

Now that you've indicated your interest by filling out the questionnaire, I would suggest following up with the coaching staff by sending more details about yourself as an athlete (stats, video, whatever is relevant for your sport).

    Good luck!
