Didn't think it was a slight. The way has other mission related deaths (not just combat) at CGA (crashes during SAR cases, etc).
I'm not sure if USMMA has something similar. I would assume they do, but I don't know that for sure.
It certainly happens in ROTC. In fact it's not usually the cadet's choice and instead they're told to payback or serve. I'm pretty sure I've seen posts in the past where the same thing has happened at the academies.Momba, is that true?
