Applying for Senate Internships this Summer, was wondering if any cadre or cadets had advice on which section of a resume a freshman contracted cadet should list ROTC experience under.

Current options I'm considering are

Employment Experience: (Leaning heavily against, despite the contract, it's not a job)
Education: (Somewhat against, since usually schools are listed here)
Activities: (Somewhat against, since that seems to undersell the service obligation)

Interested in hearing what Cadets have found works/worked for them.

Our DS interned for Sen. Burr as a sophomore in AFROTC.

He placed it under Activities and included his leadership positions.

It is not employment because you are not a member of the military. You have no bennies like an AD member. You received a scholarship, stipend and book allowance, but that is the start and the end/

It is not education because you are not majoring in ROTC.

It is an Activity outside of your curriculum.

DS served on the Hill in the VA division for Burr. They made sure it matched up to his academic goal and ROTC.

Remember one thing MOC's do every yr...nominate constituents to the SA. In other words they understand the service obligation of ROTC very well compared to a company like IBM.

Hey, let's not pick on my employer!
