Hello,

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the BFE after the nomination?! I live in the west coast and I have had a LOA since December and my CIS states that I received my nomination on the 27th of January.

Patience is virtue but I would love to put an end to me stalking the mail!!

I assume you're 3Q, if not then perhaps that's the holdup. Maybe DoDMERB? In any case, if you weren't the principal nominee then they still need to find a slot for you. What does your portal say?
 
reeker, it took my DD about a month to recieve her BFE after recieving her nomination. She also had an LOA, the package is probably in route to you already. The only difference is that we had to wait through the holidays, and everyone was on vacation, but what an awesome belated Christmas present! Good luck to you!

Congrats to your daughter! I still have not received my BFE but I am expecting it to arrive soon. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
 
Should come any day soon. USNA will delay it a few days to give your nominating source (Representative, Senator, ROTC instructor, etc.) a chance you give you a congratulatory call.

I got my BFE a week after I got the call from my congressman.
 
You may or may not get a congratulatory call from your MOC. Some do it; some don't USNA typically gives the MOC one week to contact you. At the end of that week, they mail the BFE. Another week later, they let the BGO know.:roll eyes:

I recieved my BFE today and the wait is over!
