BGO at high school graduation

Hello, do I invite my BGO to my graduation? Will he come on his own? Is there even a chance that he'll come at all?

Not sure how your BGO would know when/where your HS graduation is...and where he'd get a ticket...? I wouldn't expect him to just "show up". Give him a call if you want him to come.

Sometime schools make the request; however, I would not count on it. If you want the BGO to attend, ask. Also, try to set things up so that the BGO can depart early. Many BGOs work, so attending a weekday, day-time ceremony means taking time off work -- the easier you can make it for him/her, the better.

If your BGO can't attend, he/she can often find someone to fill in.
