BGO change

Just checked portal and the listed BGO has changed.
Why would that change in middle of the process?
Should my DD contact new BGO? The BGO interview was done last summer.

My friend had the same problem happen last year... Unfortunately, her BGO had passed away. I would say yes, contact the new BGO.

Did the BGO change this late in the process? What is the role of the BGO once the interview is done and application process is complete?

There is no need to contact the BGO. This could be a result of a BGO retiring, new BGOs coming in and some re-shuffling done, etc. No need to read any further into the change. BGOs play a less significant role for current seniors at this point...really the only thing we do is monitor the application status and potentially present at a school assembly/ceremony.
