BGO Interview Question

DS had BGO interview about 7 days ago. Looking in the CIS today, he noticed the interview results are still showing "not received." How long should he wait before he contacts BGO to follow up on the process? Or should he?

If he were to follow up, should it be by email or by phone?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated...

I would recommend following up! I did that with my liaison officer for the Air Force Academy, as I too noticed that the evaluation had not been posted after a period of about 7 days. I followed up via email! Hope this helps sir!

It took 2 weeks before CIS updated after the BGO interview.
I would recommend not to contact BGO after only one week.

I would wait at least two weeks. Believe it or not, it does take some thought and effort to submit the BGO interview and normally isn't something that takes just a few minutes. Also, you are dealing with people who have other jobs....so a week is what I would normally expect, but I would give him/her a little more buffer.

Agree w/ jadler and team mom. USNA admission is in high gear right now. And as in most things, comparing the USAFA and USNA is like pitting the Toledo Mudhens against the NY Yankees. Unless you like golf.

Wait awhile. Patience is a virtue ... especially in this competition.

Thanks to all your suggestions. I will wait another week (at a minimum I suppose!). DS LOVED CVW and I guess we're anxious to get this last thing finished to have a completed file.

Please give your BGO time. He may have other interviews and is waiting to rack and stack all of them or he may be busy. Your interview is not holding up anything in your candidate process. The current hurdle to focus on if you have not received one already is your nomination.
