I've often read of people hearing what their BGO put in for them, whether it be 'not recommended' or 'top 10%' etc and I was wondering where you can see these results. I had my interview done about two weeks ago, my BGO did most of the talking so I only answered several questions. I'm curious to see how I did, is there any way to check without asking my BGO directly? (Not that I'm unwilling to do so, just don't know how acceptable that is)

I would like to know as well. My BGO also submitted my interview fairly quickly; two hours after my interview was finished. Is that a good thing or bad thing?

jeez I hope so, I didn't really talk much the whole time because he showed me a video and talked about life at the academy more than interviewing me really. Guess I rubbed off as qualified/unqualified quickly :/

For my interview, he asked me questions 30% of the time while I asked him questions 70% about life in the academy. I really want to know what he said about me though.

My BGO had a GIANT packet of questions to ask. He told me that the packet of questions were standard for every interview...?
I'm surprised to hear that some BGOs didn't ask many questions... but mine also said that the interview would be up on the portal in about a month.

The results of the BGO report to the board are not revealed to the candidate UNLESS your BGO lets you know. Odds are, if you showed interests (i.e. you have done some research on USNA, have an interest in a military career, being a leader, not selfish/arrogant, etc.) and you can demonstrate reasonably (notice reasonably...doesn't have to be perfect) in an interview (in which you dressed for the occasion), you probably are going to get some type of positive report (how positive is difficult to say). If you can honestly fit yourself into the description above, I wouldn't lose sleep over it....BGO interviews tend to fill gaps in your application...in other words, something that your application data might not reveal or something from your application that could be amplified (and would not have already be known to the Admissions Board).

My interviews tend to go about 2.5-3 hours, so what yrangd experienced isn't abnormal. Each BGO is suppose to conduct the interview in a particular way, but they might not be "exactly" the same.
