DD has been waiting a month for her BGO interview to be submitted. Everything else is complete with her app. She followed up once and he said he would would complete it soon. Nothing has happened. Any suggestions? Is it normal to take a month or more from the time of interview. Seems really long.

Not much you can do beyond what you've done. A month is a LONG time. My guess is the BGO has let is slip through the cracks, now can't remember any of the details and thus is stalling. Not a good thing, BTW.

The good news (sort of) for you is that, once your packet is complete and a month has gone by, the Admissions Board will review the package sans the BGO interview. In the meantime, they will notify the Area Coordinator (in theory, the BGO's "boss" remembering it is a volunteer organization) who will likely ping the BGO. Still, no one can "make" the BGO do anything, sad to say.

You might try contacting the BGO once more. You could contact the AC but the AC already knows of the issue so not much point.

Sorry this has happened to you!

Thanks you for the insight. My DD had her app all complete first week of August, it took over 3 weeks for her BGO to even agree to interview her, now another month has gone by and no submission of her interview. She is really frustrated by this. She is an excellent student and really wanted to be early in the process for her application to go to the admissions board. Will it hurt her chances if he never submits a BGO interview for her? I am sure it's not a positive thing for her application.

Failure to submit a BGO interview won't hurt her chances. A great write up might help a little.
