BioTechnology Class?

Does anyone know anything on this class? The teacher didn't have enough time to give me an idea of the class. I was originally interested in biology but figured since I like hand on classes and this one says "lab oriented" and USNA likes to see lab classes on apps, this is a win/win situation right? Thanks!

There was a bio-tech and bio-manufacturing class at my high school and they essentially produced different things that bio-manufacturing companies produce. They did things with forensics, using different lab techniques, etc. It's a fun class- I was working on research so had a chance to help out a lot.
If you have an extra period I definitely reccommend it over other electives

Depends on what you're taking it in lieu of. If you already have Calc, Chem, English, History, high-level language -- or some combination thereof -- your 5th course can/should be something that interests you. If you're taking this instead of a "core" course, I'd reconsider.
