Bombing across Baghdad kill many after America leaves country

More than 1.5 million Americans served in Iraq between 2003 and 2011, with cost estimates ranging from $2 Trillion to $5 Trillion.

32,000 of those troops in Iraq were wounded in the fighting.

4,500 of those troops in Iraq paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Asking the obvious question on everyone's mind, though, isn't worth asking because it might diminish the sacrifice that so many people have made.

And asking the question certainly wouldn't change any of the numbers above.

Putting our heads in the sand and fingers in our ears won't make that question go away. Not every war has a feel good ending (in fact, generally 50% of the nations involved in a war usually have a VERY unenjoyable time after the war.

And history will change because it happened a long time ago??
