got my bellevilles at fort jackson thursday. Nice boots, but the sizing is a little off so beware. I normally wear a 12, but i had to go down to size 11 for the bellevilles. Great breath-ability.

I bought Bellevilles. I agree with the post above; sizing is unique for those boots. I wear around size 10 in shoes and bought size 8.5 in boots. Only way to ensure you buy a well-fitted pair is to try different sizes on at a store. I would not suggest ordering them online.

I had exactly the same size difference, and made sure I wore the thick issue socks as well, and still needed the 8.5 with the Bates. But I liked the bates the most. I felt like they gave me more ankle support than the Bellevilles.

I went with the Bellevilles, but didn't really have the opportunity to try on the Bates. They're decent but they don't feel like traditional boots in the ankle support, or lack there of, that they provide although they definitly are very, very comfortable

I went for the Bellevilles; normally a 12, but I got them in an 11. I think they're pretty comfortable as is, though I'm going to go out and buy gel insoles for them.

got the Khybers and LOVE them...they ran a size and a half small but are amazing. I've run, climbed, and gone through everything from concrete to ankle deep mud and had zero problems

I need help choosing one & confused with the sizing of each of them.

By the way, does anyone know how the oxfords (female) sizes differ, if at all?

hkim93, I know what ya mean. They're all in guy sizes (minus the female low quarters) so conversion can be a bit tricky. Generally, men's shoe sizes will be about 1.5 sizes smaller than your normal shoe size. I can't reiterate this enough though - but make sure you try your boots on beforehand! While I might be able to guesstimate well in Adidas for a normal shoe, Bellevilles seem to run large (I ended up a whole size down from where expected) and I have not been able to try on Bates. It would be very hard to try and guess your size in a boot that you're already converting to a men's size from a women's and then to figure out the different sizing on the boots. As for choosing, just find the one that is most comfortable for you. None of them are preferred over the others although it does seem some people have had better experiences with the Bellevilles in this community that have shared.

The oxfords felt true to size for me and I got my normal shoe size if that helps though.
