Well, if you wanna be president, go national. Bill Clinton did, and his presidential photo-op got him a ton of mileage! Conversely, you want to really lead something? Gov's the gig. Tell us how it works out. Confidence seems present in abundance. Go get 'em!

I think that the key is to attend Boys State. DS was told by his ALO that it counted in the WCS the same as being an Eagle Scout. I do not know if Boys Nation will give you more points or not.

Try and do both if you can. I remember that it had a place to check for Boys Nation on some online form. If your state is like Alabama then to go to Nation you had to be governor or lt. gov.

Great time! Ended up as state senator but didn't get the nomination for boys nation senator. Was also the boys state bugler and Went to the rotary youth leadership seminar and NASS. three busy weeks but fun and rewarding nonetheless!
