British Solider Killed on London Street in Terrorist Attack

It is a very sad day. Actually if you saw the CNN interview of his friend, that was more frightening.

Paraphrasing, but basically his friend said when asked if he condemns the action of his friend, he said I condemn the British govt for causing him to do this.

I recall when Bullet was stationed in the UK in the early 90's, they were told point blank:
You will not wear your uniform off base (even flying on orders)
You will not have a base decal, or any type of stickers that show you are an American on your cars.
(That was comical since almost everybody's cars were left hand drive, unlike the Brits....yeah the decal or USAF was the give away clue, not where the steering wheel was located).

It is a sad day for the Brits. The video itself was insanely disturbing.

It is a sad day and an extremely disgusting attack. It's also why, whenever a tattoo discussion comes up, I always recommend never getting a tat that can identify you as military. You never know when terrorists are going to throw your dead body from the plane to the tarmac, or now even just attack you in the street.

I feel sorry for Lee Rigby family and friends, he sounded like a truly good person.

I, however, don't feel it a bad day the Brits, man wearing uniforms, white people, black people, Islamic people, Christian people, or any group for that matter. A few mental unstable people committed a gruesome crime. They are the guilty people and not some group we wrap them into.

I keep going back to one of my guiding points “Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself”: FDR’s First Inaugural Address

So I try not to allow insane people dictate how I live my life.

Now a uniformed French soldier has been attacked from behind and knifed in the neck in Paris. Apparently he has lost a lot of blood but is no longer in danger. Be careful out there people. The unknown assailant escaped. Authorities in France are trying to determine if there is a connection with the incident in London, but I don't know how they can really do that until they catch the assailant.
