In April, I broke my thumb during a rugby game. It required three pins to fix. The pins are now removed, and I was cleared by a Hand specialist. Is there any chance that I will still be DQed for this injury?

Not knowing anything else about you or the situation (that's a caveat), one would say that if the hand specialist cleared you to full and unrestricted activity (full range of motion, strength, stability, etc has returned), you would MEET medical accession standards. Email me at Larry.Mullen@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil and attach the letter from the hand specialist giving you the full release. Provide me your full name and Last 4 of your SSN.:thumb:
