I think I may know the answer to this question but I wanted to know for sure.

There is a possibility that my son will have a C in the final term of an AP European History class. His final grade in the class will be a B and this will be the only C on his transcript. His class rank is 12 out of 227 and his overall GPA is 3.75.

Does this C destroy his chances for being considered for admission?

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Typically the only grade that shows up on a transcript is the final grade.... not all of the quarter and exam grades so you should be fine.

I had a C in Calculus BC as a midterm grade and I'll be reporting with the Class of 2018 three weeks from today on July 2nd.

    Grades

My DD had more than one C. I think USMA looks for consistency and the level of the classes.
