"(29 Mar 2015) - All "Accepted" status USMA & USMAPS candidates must have obtained the “Tdap vaccine" AFTER their 18th birthday, but prior to reporting on their respective R-Day. Please ensure your immunization records reflect the administration of this vaccine by medical personnel."

Am I the only one who finds this to be contradictory if a candidate is 17 on R-Day (which many are)?

It says if you are 18, you better already have it when you show up at WP.

How is that contradictory? If you will show up at 17, it doesn't apply to you. They will contact you and vaccinate you after your birthday. Similarly, if someone cannot get the vaccines before Rday (some doctors will not give the polio booster), they will be vaccinated on Rday.

After you are 18, "but prior to reporting on their respective R-Day."

So I suppose it means IF you are 18, you need to have it before R-Day. But it also says NOT to have it until after you are 18.

SF1775, agree the wording could be confusing to a 17 y/o candidate.
