Finally, I received a nomination from my congressional district, Ed Royce! Woo Hoo!
However, I do want to inform you what is the letter. It says that because I received a nomination to USAFA, the Academy will bring each applicant before a Board for approval. Once the Appointment has been made, the Academy will notify my service academy director and she will contact me.
She will be on vacation beginning December 17th and will return after the New Year.
HOWEVER the letter stated, "You MAY know of your appointment before she returns".
So, I'm guessing there's a possibility of receiving an appointment for USAFA BEFORE March/April?
