Just a curiousity- any idea how competitive the C 44th district (Calvert) is for noms to USNA ONLY? Same question for the Senators.
I'm from CA-45 and last year there was competition but it wasn't really anything ridiculous. I'm not sure how your rep does noms so it could be more or less competitive. As far as the senators go, there's quite a bit of competition there. They each get something like 1000 apps every year. Another thing to keep in mind is they talk with each other, and if you have ANY other nomination, they won't nominate you. Last year I was selected for a phone interview, waited around half the day for the call, and then I was asked if I had a nomination, I told them yes, and they said congrats but we don't need to talk to you now.
