I just got fingerprinted about 2 weeks ago. How long will it take before I'm eligible to receive my cac card?

I got my CAC the same day I went in for it. Took about 20 mins and I walked out with it in my wallet.

You gotta make an appointment at a Personnel Service Detachment on a nearby military installation. Someone with a CAC has to escort you onto the base, or you can bring your enlistment contract to the base pass office and they'll give you a temporary pass onto the base

Have someone take you on base-->Be in the system-->Put Cac in wallet.

Thanks for the reply which answer another question I had, but how long did you have to wait after you got fingerprinted before you could go in and get it?

Umm I don't think fingerprinting has anything to do with whether you can get a CAC or not, I never got fingerprinted until my security clearance. Anyhow, if you've contracted and have all your paperwork you should be good to go. But just talk to your ROTC det, they'll tell you everything you need to know

Whaat did your cadre tell you when you asked them?

The full finger printing is for your clearance. The CAC process will take a thumb (or maybe its another finger) scan when you go in for your card. You have an entire detachment of Cadets and Cadre... they will know better the process and length of time better than anyone on here.
