    Hello,
Are there a lot of cadets from California? Perhaps Los Angeles (my city or residence)? If so, would they say that California and the Los Angeles area is very competitive or average?

    Thanks,
    AH

Let's just say that the Big Three are Florida, California, and Texas.

I'm a cadet from california....lets just say that it might be a little more difficult compared to some less populated states. That being said though, there are alot more congressional districts in CA to get nominated from. To get Senator nomination is much much harder to receive in CA as it is more populated. If you are a good candidate though and they really want you...they will find a nomination for you, especially if you receive a LOA without a nomination...

I'm from the LA area and I've met many people that are from the same area as well. As stated earlier, it is a bit more competitive to get in from California but since there are many more congressional districts, receiving a nomination shouldn't be too hard.
