Call from admissions regional commander

My usma applicant missed a call from the regional admission commander. Has not reached him yet, is this normal to receive call from admissions?

No. If they ever need you they always email, so it may be important since the called you. Is his application complete?

Yes he has been working through medical waiver.

When i was a candidate my regional coordinator called me to verify my scores and to ask about an extenuating circumstance that affected my application package.

Oddly enough this was a week before i recieved my BFE.
