Have any other Falcon scholarship recipients received appointments for the class of 2016?

Someone asked this question on the AFA Admissions facebook page this morning. The response was that Selections has not released Falcon appointments yet and to expect them later in April. I would believe the information you all personally received from Lt Gen Kelley telling you that the Falcon appointments would come out in late April and into early May.

I don't believe that any of the AFA prepsters have received appointments yet either.

As has been said numerous times on this forum, the AF way is to "Hurry up and wait." I've told my son that he might as well start getting used to it now. Focus on the things you have control over and don't worry about the things you don't. Hang in there.

Nothing here at MMI... we are still waiting. I did hear that we will be hearing more towards the middle of April and early May. :frown: But, if you did well during your Falcon prep year, you should have nothing to worry about but the waiting!
 
A friend of DS, who is also a NWP Falcon, called Colonel Benyshek. The Admissions Board will be reviewing Falcons on 4/25 with appointments going out 4/26.

Good intel - thanks! Knowing that the anxiety level would be high among the Falcons after this initial appointment release went out, I'm sure that's the reason Lt Gen Kelly took the time to personally call all 80 Falcons.
