Calling All Football Fans

In a recap of a pretty good football Saturday: Notre Dame over Pitt in a 3 OT cliffhanger that I sadly missed (it seemed really approriate though as I was attending the funeral of a dear friend who was a devoted ND fan- he would have appreciated that one!); Alabama- squeeked past LSU; Oregon and USC decided that defense has no place on the football field- 62-51?!; and closer to home- Army beat up AF pretty pretty handily; Navy won, Texas A&M kicked off on Mississippi and of course on Thursday Va Tech was in the hopper getting eaten up by Miami 30-12. Citadel also won over Elon. In the D3 world- Coast Guard beat Maine Maritime; Kings Point lost -( though I am surprised they even played.) NY Maritime- Norwich was cancelled for fairly obvious reasons. Finally (in the D1 but should consider moving to D3 Category)- VMI got eaten up by Stony Brook :rolleyes:

Air Force treated that game like the GWOT and just phoned in their efforts... :wink:
 
Bad day on the gridiron for Army, Air Force and Navy - and also for the #1 team in the country.
