A former student of mine is wondering if she might be in either the air force reserves or air national guard and enrolled in a college air force rotc program at the same time?

Mods you need to move this thread.

Jfanch1978 DoDMERB is medical, It stands for DoD Medical Evaluation Review Board, it has no ties to ROTC, except to say that the candidate meets the medical standards for the commissioning source.

I know of cadets that are in the Guard and in AFROTC, but I believe they have to get approval to do both.

I would suggest to her that she talk to the AFROTC Det. CoC for guidance. If they can't answer her question, contact the CoC of the Reserve or Guard unit.

The mods will move this to ROTC.

Simple Answer, Yes. But there are things that need to be done. Had some at my det. in reserves.
