write a recommendation for an applicant to USMA?

I tried to find similar questions, no dice. If you happen to find a thread that answers this, just forward please! : )

This to some degree is speculation but you can have multiple letters of recommendation attached to your file. I think a letter from some one who earned a distinguished service cross certainly would not hurt your file. I know USAFA allows people to fax LORs and include them in your applicant file but I am not sure how the other academies handle that nor do I know in how high a regard they would hold those LORs. Maybe a BGO, ALO or other such individual with a greater breadth of knowledge could let you know how highly these are regarded.
