Can anyone with daughters please post their fitness test times?

My daughter is struggling with the pull ups but I'm curious how other females that are in the application process have done on the fitness test.

My DD CFA :
Push ups - 50 (Max)
Pull-ups - 5
Mile Run - 7.04
Shuttle - 9.8
Bskt Ball Throw - 47'
Sit Ups - 81

This is just from practice, but
Pushups: 35
Flexed Arm Hang: 20sec
Mile Run: 7:50
Shuttle: 10.1
BsktBall: 40
Sit Ups: 85

I'm going to take the CFA at the end of the month in order to try to make the deadline for early action. If I "fail" one of the categories (Mile run, flexed arm hang, pushups) then I might wait another month and take it again.

After a cross country season full of injuries, my mile time isn't where it needs to be, and my pushups are lacking. I have been practicing pullups and using my pull up bar at home, but I seem to be forever "almost there" with my pull up, so I'm working on both, and if all else fails, I"ll do the flexed arm hang for my CFA.

Either way, I'm hoping to make some slight improvements in the next 3 weeks (adding anothing 5-10 pushups and dropping 10sec from my mile)

I can't help with CFA scores, but I am told that even one pull up earns a higher score than any amount of flex arm hang. One may wish to consider holding off submitting CFA scores until the due date to give more time to train/practice/recover from injuries.
The OP may also wish to reconsider using ones real name in any public forum such as this one.

The USMC recently changed their PFT to pull ups for women vice the flexed arm hang. The USMC has created a dedicated site for this change that includes tips, training programs, etc. I am no longer on active duty, but most of my friends and several have used the program. They said it has worked well for them. Good luck!

At time of admission my daughter also struggled with pullups. She did the flex arm hang for her CFA. She is at USAFA now and last spring did 5 pullups. What worked for her was doing reverse pullups. This is where you start in the pullup position, which may require someone to help or having a chair available, and then lower yourself as slow as possible. Not sure if that works for everyone, but it worked for her.
Good luck.

I don't remember all my scores, but here are the ones I do remember
Push ups - ?? not very many, maybe 32, 34? somewhere in the 30s for sure
Flexed Arm Hang - 60 seconds
Mile Run - 8.04
Shuttle - ?? somewhere between 9 and 10
Bskt Ball Throw - 60'
Sit Ups - 72

No idea why I remember those from over 5 years ago...but I do. As for pullups, the most I ever got was 2, and that was right after basic, when I was super light with like 10% body fat. Honestly that was the biggest difference for me, dropping about 6 or 7 pounds in basic and getting down to my ideal weight. Also, negatives help, as well as using an assisted pull-up machine or an elastic band to assist when practicing.

My daughter is all over the place.

BB throw 26ft
pull ups 2
shuttle run 10.4
sit ups 95 (max)
push ups 49 (almost max)
mile run 8:32

Let's see...
B-ball - I think 39'?
23-ish sec flexed arm hang
Shuttle 10 sec
Sit-ups 54
Pushups 50
Mile run 7:37.

A bit on the underwhelming side for most of those, but I'm doing OK physically here at USAFA. Not great, but not terrible. Of the 7 girls in my flight, 4 of us could not do pull-ups on arrival. At least 2 of us still can't. It's a pain for the PFT, but it's not a deal-breaker.

Sent you a PM earlier

pull-ups: 6
push-ups: 50
sit-ups: 78
b-ball throw: 47
mile: 7:35
shuttle: 9.4
I'm glad you started this because I was also wondering!

My daughter, who is now a senior at USAFA, had the following scores:

Basketball Throw 46 feet
Flex Arm Hang 22 seconds
Shuttle Run 9.9
Situps 71
Pushup 40
Mile run 6:40

As a qualifier, my daughter had these results 2 weeks after being released for full activity from the doctor for mono. She had been inactive for 7 - 8 weeks, but it was getting into November and we were concerned about waiting any longer to get her application package completed, so we chose to go ahead and do the assessment even if she was not at her typical fitness level. We sent a letter to her admissions counselor advising him of the mono situation.

Bball throw 44
Arm hang 45
Sit-ups 91
Push-ups 42
Shuttle 8.8
Mile 6:30
Am I forgetting anything?
