Candidate Activities App: Radio Operator's License

Does anyone know what kind of license they are referring to on the activities app when they say "Do you have a Radio Operator's License (Not C.B.)?" I have my VHF radio operator license for boats but I'm not sure that this is what they're referring to.
 
Don't know for sure but I think they're referring to Short Wave.
 
In your case, I'd check YES. If you're directly quoting the app, it says "Do you have A Radio Operator's license. And in your case, I'd say you have one of the more applicable kinds if you intend to do VOST or anything with sailing.

If they were more specific and said a HAM or Short Wave license, then you'd be out of luck. But you have a license, and it's not a CB....so go for it.

OP must have a GMRS, you can get liscense for boating.
