Checked son's page for update sent in some time ago. User name/password not allowing me to log in. Bad news or result of info finally being posted???
 
The candidate information system sometimes goes down randomly. I can still log into mine and I received my appointment in December. Good luck to your son!

My son is still waiting, he just got onto his candidate page. Maybe you just had a "glitch" of the 4/1/09 worm.:eek::yay::help::bsflagsmileyface:
 
speaking of the candidate page...when will it open up for us 2014 "candidates". actually, when can we become official "candidates".

i can already access my USAFA and USMA candidate log ins. am i missing something with USNA?
 
yet again USNA is the last to do anything, the candidate page for the Naval Academy will not open until may. I am only an appointee but from experience with the Academy i would bet five bucks that you won't receive your candidate letter until may.

You can't check your status on your candidate page- on the DODMERB page you can usually find a pretty good indication that you are getting an appointment

What does "the pretty good indication" look like? I checked the status on the Dodmerb page back on March 19 and the Status Change Date was a different date than the one that is there today. I'm totally confused by the whole process, can you shed some light, I hope??
 
I know when I received my appointment and when a lot of people I know received theirs, on the Dobmert/tricare website the line where it states "agency" was changed from NALOA to US Naval Academy and it came a couple of days later. Hope that helps! Good luck!
 
On my son's Dodmerb page it has always read "US Naval Academy" and nothing else. The date has never changed from 20th June 2008. But his B & G wrote a very nice email to the last 9 candidates left (out ot 41), and that they will have an answer by April 15th.
