So may first just passed and it was the deadline to accept an offer to the Naval Academy for a few fortunate people. Does anyone know the numbers of who declined and how many people will be getting offers from the waiting list??

The only people who know the answer to your question reside in CGO at USNA. They don't tell BGOs or anyone else.

Also, it's not just the number who decline that determines how many get off the waitlist -- it's whether the declination rate is higher or lower than USNA expected/predicted.

Just remember that for any SA the number of offers of appointments exceeds the actual number set for the class. Each Academy has a statistical idea of how many applicants declined in previous years (keep in mind that many of the candidates have applied to multiple SA and receive multiple offers). From there they go on to the waitlist.
