it is the PFE not the CFA...

PFE is situps, running 1.5 miles and pushups

Last year at AIM we did the PFE. You are going to do cadence pushups, situps( as many as you can in two minutes) and the 1.5 mile run. We ran on the indoor track, and since the track is smaller in there, we ran 13 laps.

5th Deck Roland and that indoor track....I hate that place. It you can imagine this....you're trapped in a dusty sponge. When you go to breath, all that dust pours into your mouth and absorbs all your spit. You have 12 more laps, and nothing to swallow with. There was nothing fun about that track....nothing.

From this, should I assume that the "Physical" for CGA is the PFE, not the CFA?

The week I was there for AIM it was incredibly humid and hot, usually it was a relief to go inside... Not in that case for the indoor track..

It will be hot and humid all summer long, so start getting used to that to make the real thing easier.

In the past, there have been AIMsters who were not allowed to take the PFE during their AIM week due to a "black flag" heat & humidity alert, which disallows all organized physical activity at the academy.
