My Congressman's nominations process starts sometime in December, but I was wondering do I NEED to have my Fitness Assessment finished before then? What will happen if I don't?

Also, I'm having difficulty understanding how the MOC Nominations work. So 10 candidates can be NOMINATED for a vacancy? Is it possible for more than one of the 10 to get accepted into West Point?

You should have your CFA done as early as possible, because it is part of your Candidate Portal. Your Congressman's nomination committee or entity is likely to ask you if you've taken your CFA/how well you did on it, since MOCs wish to nominate those who have a good chance of being admitted.

10 candidates can get nominated, and the 10 candidates will get in if West Point chooses to admit them. Or maybe only 2 of the 10 will get in. It's all based on their individual standings. Nominations are only requirements for admission.
