CFA Location and Rules

Not sure where the best place would be to take my CFA. Does the shuttle run and basketball throw need to be performed on an indoor basketball court, or can it be done on an outdoor track or football field? My high school's track is very far from the gym and the pull-ups bars are even farther. Just trying to find a good spot to do it! Any suggestions?

My son did it (a couple years ago) at the track. There was a pullup bar (actually a cross bar over the gate). He did the BB Throw, situps,and push-ups in the infield and the shuttle and mile on the track.

Does the CFA have to get "processed" by the academy? My real question is: If I took the CFA on October 30th and entered it that day, would the November 1st deadline still be met?
I have a big cross country race on Friday so I want to be prepared for that, then get a few days of rest before I take the CFA.

DS just did the CFA Friday, Oct 18th.

When he entered the event results and hit enter, it was Recieved AND signified as Processed, immediately. There was no wait-time like the other sections, it was Received and Processed by the time we clicked back to the Admissions page. IMO, I would not wait till the last day if possible if only God-forbid someone get sick, turn an ankle, etc. This was our experience yesterday fwiw.
