In the CFA packet it says modified sit-up but the picture looks like it is supposed to be a full on sit-up. Can any of you shed some light on this topic?

    Thank you!

Cross your arms as shown, lift your back off the ground, and touch your elbows to your thighs.

you shouldn't technically be going all the way up, hence why you touch your thighs. to really rep them out, get your butt as close to your heels as you can, make sure your arms are crossed as they should be, and then bounce from your shoulder blades to mid thigh (you do reach out a little with your elbows.)

I began doing them going all the way up over my knees and it really hurt my total amount. When I figured out that I only had to touch my thighs I increased the amount by almost 20. Good luck on your app.

    Later,

Don't the instructions say that your knees have to make a 90 degree angle?

Alright, then I just want to make sure, because it wouldn't feel right to go by something that was posted on the forum, and then be offered an appointment when I did it the wrong way.

Please don't take any offense to my questioning this. I just want to make absolutely sure, because I take the instructions as the absolute truth, and it won't trickle down.

However, if more people can confirm this, that would be great!
