I took a cfa at usna summer seminar ( wanted to go to sls too but the last session was still during my exams). My scores were basketball throw 58, pull ups max, push ups max, sit ups max, shuttle 8.5, and mile 5:59. My questions are:
1) are these scores high enough- I could improve some slightly(ie bb throw)
2) if I forwarded these scores to USMA would it have a negative impact because of the rivalry between USMA and USNA (because I only attended Navys SS)
3) who do I contact to forward the scores and how

Note all grammatical errors due to typing this on an ipod :)

HAHahahha man! Don't worry, you can send your scores to the USMA. They won't frown upon you! They are all different service academies! They are just respectable football competitors!

To do so, I believe you must contact your admissions office. If I recall correctly, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure your scores do get forwarded in the end (stay on top of it!)

Your CFA scores are great... not sure about the bb throw, however. I have read that USNA doesn't really care about the BB throw, but USMA does. I am not sure if 58ft is enough. Your other scores are really good, however :thumb:

If you passed with the basketball throw that I think you're probably okay! :thumb:
Don't worry about the rivalry. I'm sure it's all good fun; they won't hold it against you!
As per who to contact, start with your BGO (Blue and Gold officer) or just email USNA admissions and ask for guidance.

Well, I might just retake it again anyway. I could probably max the mile and improve my sprint and definately improve the Basketball throw. The only reason I have a few problems with the Basketball throw is that I have shorter arms (I am 5' 5") and weigh 120 lbs., but I make up for it on all the other exercises.

Does anyone with any past experience know if a 58 is good enough for the Basketball throw. I know everything else is quite strong, I have practiced it before and can get around 70 feet, but when I did it at Navy I had not practiced in about a month and did not have the technique down.

Last year there was no problem using a USNA NAS CFA, just call USNA admissions and have them forward. For DS they handled it that day.

I'm pretty sure the opposite is also true. (USMA will forward to USNA)

USAFA accepted DS's NAS CFA, but remember that they normally do not allow followup submissions!
