Anyone know how long it takes from when the CFA proctor (local PE Instructor) posts the CFA scores to when it shows on the USMA Portal that they are on file? Son's proctor seems to have forgotten to submit them and deadline on LOA is approaching... much stress in this household today. :unhappy:

Thanks in advance,

My gym teacher submitted my scores right after I took the test. I checked my candidate page a few hours later and there was a green check. So I am thinking that it goes up almost immediately?

When the CFA procter uses the portal to submit the results of the tests, it seems it is reflected within a few hours. There is the option of submitting the test results via "snail mail" by completing the form on the last page of the instructions and mailing it to USMA. If your teacher chose to use this method, there will definitely be a time lage between the test date and the date it shows on your candidate page. I would speak with your proctor as soon as break is over and see what happened. If the original message sent to him via your candidate file was lost or inadvertently deleted, just click again and another message will be sent to him and their report can be submitted and registered without delay.

YEAH!

FINALLY tonight it shows the CFA is submitted... now all is complete... LOA? - check!, NOM? - check! and CFA? - check!, Medical Waiver? - Check! everything... now, just waiting for the BIG envelope! YIPPEE!!!!

^gratz!!

well you guys are lucky...I took my CFA when winter break started and when I asked my proctor to send the scores right away, she told me she didnt have internet access at her house:thumbdown: she wont be sending it until January

Chockstock: Did you take it during school? I took mine midday and therefore my gym teacher was able to submit it right away. I'm sorry you have to wait so long to have your scores entered.

CFA Schedule

Son's football team was in playoffs so the CFA was sceduled only after the season ended. The first time son went to meet with the proctor the proctor forgot, this lead to finals week and difficulty scheduling, which lead to CFA admistered the Friday before Winter Break... which lead to the proctor either forgetting or not knowing how important it was to get the data into the system... in any case, the proctor finally did it and met the LOA deadline...

Phew!

now we wait for the phone call or letter with the next bit of good news. I assume it will be after January 1st since most people seem to have the week off between Christmas and New Years....

I took it the first day when winter break started for our school, so school was over. But the classrooms and gym were mostly open due to the winter break swim practices.

I'm actually kind of anxious. I have until January 23 of next year to submit it and we get back to school on January 4. You dont suppose it will be too close?

proudmama: I'm glad it worked out for you guys! Good luck!

chockstock: You should be fine if they enter it January 4 or even a week or so after. I'm going to assume that since you have an LOA (and a nom?) that once your application is complete they are going to process it quite quickly.

Remember that West Point is closed for Christmas break...even if you submitted your score today, no one would be in the office to see it til next Monday. You are fine...go play with your Christmas presents and enjoy the break from school! :thumb:
