My DD who was academically and medically qualified, failed her CFA with he following results:

Shuttle 9.3
Mile 7.01
Sit ups 75
Basketball 40
Pushups 21
Arm hang 10.1:thumbdown:

Is she done as far as the service academies are concerned? Will she be able to retest?

Thanks

Did she take it at summer seminar or who did she take it with? I took ithe CFA three times. Once at summer seminar and twice with my p.e. teacher. I was able to replace my summer seminar score, but only submitted my last CFA result because I wasn't happy with my previous result. I do not think that she can retake it if she has already sent in the results, but do not quote me on it.

Most regional commanders will allow a candidate to take the CFA as many times as necessary to pass. Just contact your FFR about it. The sooner the CFA is passed, the better.

If retaking it is an option (ie the first scores were not sent in or she has permission to send in a 2nd set of scores) then rushing to retake the test (the sooner the better) may be a bad idea. I'm thinking she may be better served if she undertakes a physical training regime and take the test later, when she is in better shape and will get high scores.
