FLIPPER, I would contact your RC. You should have received your scores by now. Session 2 is done by now.We are still waiting for scores from Session 1. Anyone else?
Does this go for usna too? I am attending summer seminar next week and I have worked myself up to try to max everything out.During the SLE Parents Briefing, the Admissions Officer made it very clear that (1) the CFA is 10% of the WCS and (2) a passing score is a passing score. So a "competitive score" is passing, which your DS did. He clearly stated that if you passed, you don't have to take it again.
You won't get more points on your WCS if you get better a CFA score. You're better off spending your time and efforts improving your grades or your standardized test score which will have a bigger impact on your WCS.

That is odd, I am used to a very thin bar as well. Hopefully it won't throw me off too much.I cannot confirm that USNA has the same scoring scheme. Whatever the case, do your best at NASS!
Here's a tip. My DS said that the pullup bar at USNA was very thick. About the diameter of a Coke bottle. He was used to narrower pullup bars. It caught him by surprise.
Hey can you ask your son if there was any kind of padding on the bar or if it was just straight metal?I cannot confirm that USNA has the same scoring scheme. Whatever the case, do your best at NASS!

I guarantee you, at each of the accademys, all "passing" CFA scores are not equal. The better you do, the higher your CFA score is, and thus, the higher your whole candidate score will be. A better cfa score will increase your chances at admission to any and all of the accademys. This was made very clear to my son, while I was present, by admissions people from both USMA and USNA.Does this go for usna too? Holy smokes, that is super thick!
you can judge for yourself.
