Hi,
I took my CFA at USNA's Summer Seminar. They told me that I passed, but I was wondering if my scores are good enough to transfer to my USAFA file.

They said that my score was 307.5. I know that it is passing, but is it good, average or barely above a failing score?

Thanks!

you do not want to be a 250 or below- they'll ask you to retake it or it just might stay and hurt your overall file. that is a good score, though (and correct me if i'm wrong), they might not accept the transfer from USNA. at least, last year my alo told me they would take the one from west point. that could be different now, though, so don't hold me to it. either way, if you have the time and are up for it, you can always take it again:thumb:

I recommend retaking it. You could train to get a lot better in 1-2 months.

I would just try it again. Because you never know, you might do better.

The other thing is there are no half-points on the PFT.
I don't know how USAFA scores the CFA, since they don't publish that.

hmm I don't really know, when I was their for summer seminar they told i had like 440 or something, but they told me they converted it to their pft score. I don't know how its done because the pft doesn't include the basketball throw. Why doesn't the pft include basketball throw, and the CFA has it included?

Because the BBall throw is a stupid exercise that doesn't truly reflect any athletic ability.
