CFA

You have to realize that 90% of candidates play varsity sports...so I think quite a few get an outstanding and it is expected (somewhat). Since USNA operates under the whole person concept, doing "outstanding" on the CFA is only one of many aspects that is reviewed. If you are lacking in other areas, it doesn't "make up" for them. Does it help to get outstanding? Of course, but not in lieu of satisfactory (or sub-satisfactory) performance in other areas.
