The academies do a holistic review. There is no true way in knowing whether or not you are good enough. It depends on what you bring to the table. You have the credentials, and you did really well on your pre-college entrance exams. Also you have sports and leadership which is what the academies are looking for. I'd dare say that you'll get a LOA which is an automatic consideration for a nomination and the academies. Take the sat/act tests as much as you can because they take your best reading and math scores, and keep taking all the AP courses you can. Keep up the sports and leadership you have. I'm confident that you'll get in.

I'm a candidate right now for the USNA, USAFA, and USMMA.
GPA is a 3.5-3.6.
I've had 10 AP classes and 20 honors courses.
NHS
National Academic Awards
Top 5% of my graduating class
Sat/act super score- 2000
I have a great number of JROTC awards-the most in my nationally ranked program-. And I have a high leadership rank.
I have 520 hrs of community service awards.
I'm receiving a JROTC nomination and Congressional nomination.

I'm not saying that I'll get into any of the academies, but here is my quick profile for you to compare yourself to.

You can be the strongest candidate in the country, but if you don't put 110% out in it all then it's possible that you won't get in.

Keep it up! [emoji16]

Congratulations! That's amazing!
I'm a high school Junior right now and just wanted to know whether I would get into the SLE?
Thank you so much!

No. Chance is not a verb. Secondly, there is no way to "chance" you in a meaningful manner. Plenty of candidates have profiles like yours and get admitted. Plenty have profiles like yours and do not. All we'd be doing is telling you what you want to hear.

Look at the stickies at the top of the USMA forum page and you will see "What Are My Chances?" These are the profiles of the previous West Point classes.

Hopefully you will add some advanced math and science classes. If you do apply to West Point, remember that you have to have a recommendation from a chemistry or physics teacher.
