I think you got a nice chance. Buuuut my opinion is jack crap because I'm not on the admissions board. ECs are nice when you look at the tablet thing and classes are what if think USAFA wants. Do you have leadership positions in CAP? And do you still participate in club sports? What is your job now while not at Army training? You don't need to answer those but the point was Try to be as thorough as possible when filling out your application.

From my limited experience, you are about middle of the road just looking at what you've provided. Fortunately, the academy uses the whole person concept. There are more than enough candidates with stellar resumes but some are just tools with no real personal/human skills, if you know what I mean. That's for the ALO to figure out. Go in with all of your guns blazing and see where the chips fall. Good luck!

Thank you for your response, I appreciate your thoughts
Please explain me something... I do not understand how I am average. My SAT scores are well above average, as well as are my PT scores. I dont think many people are applying from the Army or have IT certifications. Also idk if Indians are considered a minority?
Thank you again, and please keep in mind that I am actually curious and not asking anyone to affirm any of my own beliefs.
    Thanks

Go to academyadmissions.com and do a search for "admissions profile". You can compare your stats vs. the average. Your CFA scores are above average (except for the basketball throw, which is below average) and your SAT scores are excellent-good job! fyi, CFA may or may not play a role on the final decision. Your GPA of 3.9W is, believe or not, average. The admissions office will re-run your GPA using some magical formula and come up with their own "weighted" GPA. Your ECs really do not stand out as it shows very little leadership qualities. I can't really say if your minority status will help. This is my objective assessment based on what you've provided. Again, I'm not the admissions office so take it with a grain of salt.
In my limited time as an ALO, I interviewed several candidates. On average, 1 in 15ish of those interviewed were accepted. I would say that 80% of those candidates had stellar resumes. Majority of candidates I've interviewed were: Varsity letter athletes in 2 or more sports and quite a few team captains (MVPs, All American, etc.), in the top 10% of their graduating class, SAT scores ranging from 1400-1600, GPA 4.0 or higher (weighted), many eagle scouts & many were involved w/boy scouts, several CAP members in key leadership positions, 70% maxed out the CFA, multiple high school club members, hundreds of hours in community service w/many in upper echelon leadership positions-basically, name it and they were it. I live in a very large region of the country where competition is extremely fierce. If your district does not have highly competitive candidates, you'll definitely do better. It's all relative. As I always say, apply and see where the chips fall. You may be pleasantly surprised.

    I see.
Well I have nothing to lose with applying, and if I don't apply then I have a 0% chance anyways.
    Thanks

Seems to me that you are a well-above average candidate. My dad went to navy, and I have a ton of friends at academies. People like to think kids at academies are these divine super-humans with flawless credentials. This is not the case at all. Take my opinion worth a grain of salt, but I would say you're in a great position.
