Hi everyone, I have just completed my application and was hoping that I could get some feedback on what my chances might be?

    Stats:

3.6 G.P.A. (Lots of A.P. Classes and Dual-Enrolled College Credits)
    28 composite on ACT
Captain of 1 Varsity Sport but lettered in three total
    National Honor Society Member
President of high school Key Club and Spanish Club
Medical qualification just came through this week
Nomination received by my US Congress Rep.
    Performed well on physical tests

    I really appreciate any feedback!

Thank you, I did go through the Class Pages that were in that thread and it does seem like I am competitive in most regards. I was just looking for some experienced input. Thank you for the quick reply and assistance!

Do you have any idea how to stand in comparison to others nominated in your Congressional District? Do you have a principal nomination or alternate? Or are you one of ten nominations on a competitive slate? The only way to guess is to have that information. If you're in a Congressional District that uses a principal and you are the principal, then since you appear 3Q'd and have a nomination, you should get an appt. If you're one of ten on a slate, then it will depend on where you fall on your slate - or on the NWL. Sorry can't be more helpful.

Usually the nomination letter will indicate if you are on a slate of 10 or if you are the principal. If it's a generic, I am pleased to offer you an appt, without any other info, you may have to wait it out or perhaps contact and ask if the nomination was part of a competitive slate. Beyond that, I don't know how much more I would do. Waiting for the end of Feb/March is certainly difficult. Feeling it at our house too w/ hopeful applicant #2 (#1 is a Firstie).

    What is your classrank?
What is your ACT breakdown? Did you take the SAT? If not, why not?
What does "performed well" on your fitness test mean? i.e. raw scores.
Any boys/girls state, boy/girl scout ranks, student government?
